Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of facilities services across multiple states (NSW/ACT/VIC/SA/TAS) within the BP Australia contract. Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, you will work collaboratively with both client and BGIS teams to ensure KPI compliance, subcontractor performance, and service quality, while driving a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, technically capable, and highly collaborative, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to thrive in a multi-site, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver all services in line with contractual KPIs and safety standards, including BP’s Life Saving Rules Conduct regular site inspections, self-verification audits, and vendor safety discussions Collaborate with BP FM teams across remote states to ensure consistent service delivery Manage subcontractor performance, compliance, safety, and timely payment processing Oversee asset data accuracy and lead asset replacement planning and reporting Monitor financial performance, ensure invoicing accuracy, and manage cost controls Foster positive client relationships, conduct meetings, and provide insights/reports Support continuous improvement through incident reporting, root cause analysis, and HSEQ engagement Education, Experience & Skills Essential: Trade (Mechanical/Electrical) and/or Post Trade (Engineering Certificate/Associate Diploma) or management qualification Proven experience managing multi-site or distributed FM operations Strong subcontractor procurement and oversight experience Familiarity with maintenance legislation, OH&S, and environmental regulations Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIs Strong CMMS knowledge (e.g., Manhattan or eMaintenance), MS Office proficiency Desirable: Experience working in the Oil, Gas & Resources sector or under high HSEQ standards Background in facilities management for retail or critical infrastructure environments Estimating and whole-of-life cost optimisation experience Workplace Flexibility To support your growth, this position will be based on-site at our Sydney office.
