About the Team
The team sits within Digital and Campus Services, working collaboratively with business representatives, project teams, and the Business Analysis Community of Practice to deliver high-quality, customer-centric digital and process improvement initiatives across the University.
About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst role leads requirements analysis, process re-engineering, and documentation to support the University's strategic initiatives—with a strong focus on cybersecurity—working closely with stakeholders to deliver effective, customer-centric digital and operational improvements.
Position Key Duties
* You will be a highly skilled business analyst with:
* Postgraduate qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience.
* Strong experience delivering cybersecurity initiatives, working with multidisciplinary teams to manage risk and ensure compliance.
* Proven ability in business analysis practise (aligned to BABOK), system integration, and developing business cases (including financial modelling).
* Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working in Waterfall and Hybrid delivery environments is paramount.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, ACSC Essential Eight), data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, APPs)
* Familiarity with higher education sector processes is advantageous.

HEP 9 - $132,942 - $138,314 + 17% Super

About You
You are an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong capability in process re-engineering, cybersecurity-focused analysis, stakeholder engagement, and producing high-quality business documentation, bringing a collaborative, analytical, and solutions-driven approach to complex digital initiative.
The University is a Child Safe organisation. You will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
