Neurological Physiotherapy Geelong (NPG) delivers high-quality physiotherapy and exercise physiology services to people living with a neurological condition and people with vertigo, dizziness, concussion or balance disorders. We take pride in our staff having advanced skills and knowledge, and are committed to our values of excellence, collaboration, compassion, respect and passion. We recognise and value the significant and unique skill set that exercise physiologists contribute to our team and service and the two disciplines complement each other beautifully.
At NPG we offer both community and clinic-based services. We have a state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym to provide high-quality exercise and treatment to our clients, and an amazing team environment for our staff. Our clients include those funded privately or by NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe, Home Care Plans, DVA and Medicare (Chronic Disease Management plans).
An exciting opportunity presents for a junior exercise physiologist who shares our values and has experience and/or a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation. In addition to a wide range of functional strengthening equipment, we have a world-class Delfi blood flow restriction (BFR) training device and accreditation. We will provide on-the-job training to the successful applicant so that they can deliver BFR treatment as part of their EP intervention and support us in delivering this novel exercise therapy.
An impressive in-house professional development and supervision structure exists, alongside a generous professional development allowance and leave for external courses. This supports both NPG's priority of continuous learning and excellent clinical care, and the applicants ongoing knowledge and skill development. Most importantly, at NPG we guarantee a workplace that is nurturing, fun and creative. We love to share ideas, learn from one another, have a laugh and enjoy the amazing career of working in the neurological and concussion space. The successful applicant will be an integral part of a growing, enthusiastic and brilliant team!
