Are you a motivated and skilled civil engineer ready to lead high-impact infrastructure projects? The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to manage the delivery of capital and commercial civil works from planning through to completion.
In this hands-on role, you'll oversee construction projects that make a tangible difference in our community—ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality and environmental standards.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading the full project lifecycle for civil infrastructure works—planning, tendering, budgeting, delivery and close-out
* Coordinating contracts and engaging with contractors, suppliers, regulators and the community
* Managing budgets and financial reporting
* Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements
* Supporting business development through commercial opportunities and external projects
What We're Looking For
* A degree in Engineering
* Experience in civil infrastructure construction and/or contracting
* Strong project management, contract administration and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and solve complex problems
What's on offer?
* Starting salary of around $110K + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance + 12% superannuation
* Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
* Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements
