Site Engineer – Contract | Sydney | Immediate Start
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for an immediate start on a civil infrastructure project in Sydney working with a principal contractor. This is a contract engagement for an initial 3–4 months with a strong likelihood of extension for the right candidate.
Scope of Works
* Earthworks (cut & fill, bulk excavation)
* Remediation (contaminated land management)
* FRP
* Retaining walls
* Utilities (wet & dry services)
Key Responsibilities
* Day‐to‐day site supervision across civil and utility scopes
* Set‐out, quality inspections and conformance checks against design drawings
* Coordination of subcontractors and construction sequencing
* Preparation of daily diaries, site instructions and ITPs
* Active participation in safety briefings, toolbox talks and SWMS reviews
* Liaison with the project manager, design team and client representatives
* Maintaining as‐built records and site documentation
About You
* Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum 3–5 years site engineering experience on civil infrastructure projects
* Exposure to earthworks, utilities or remediation scopes highly regarded
* Strong understanding of WHS requirements in a civil construction environment
* Full working rights in Australia — no sponsorship available
* Current White Card and valid driver's licence
