Northern Wildcatch Seafood Australia Pty Ltd are seeking General Deckhands / Fishing Hands on commercial fishing vessels working out of ports of Darwin & Broome all year round. 3 years experience at sea and working on deck is a prerequisite. Applicants will be required to prepare and load the vessel for sea, prepare for fishing, bait and launch traps, retrieve traps, remove and kill fish, brine fish, rebait and reset traps, pack out fish from brine to fish rooms, unload vessel in port and maintain the vessel and gear at sea and in port. Vessels are at sea for approx 2 weeks at a time.
Likely earnings approx $65,000 to $75,000 per annum
