We are a rapidly growing mortgage aggregation group supporting brokers nationwide across compliance, operations, system support and lender accreditation. As our broker network continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated Compliance Advisor to join our Melbourne-based compliance and operations team.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in finance, banking, accounting, operations, or mortgage broking who are looking to build a career in compliance, NCCP regulation, and aggregator operations. You will work closely with brokers and internal teams to ensure compliance standards are met, support training initiatives, and assist in ongoing governance and risk activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct file audits and compliance reviews to ensure brokers' assessments and documentation meet responsible lending and NCCP/BID requirements
* Review brokers' processes and supporting evidence to confirm alignment with lender policies and aggregator standards
* Monitor broker conduct and compliance obligations across the aggregation network
* Support broker onboarding, accreditation processes and ongoing compliance checks
* Assist with internal audits and respond to lender audit or investigation requests
* Prepare compliance reports, summaries and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
* Contribute to compliance induction training and deliver presentations during internal PD Days
* Assist with EDR‑related matters and investigation preparation under supervision
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field
* Experience in mortgage broking, banking operations, credit analysis or compliance is advantageous
* Understanding of NCCP, BID obligations and mortgage processes is a bonus (training provided)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured compliance procedures
