Telemetry Systems Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telemetry Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and managing telemetry systems on a wide range of assets.
As a Telemetry Systems Engineer, you will be working closely with our team to ensure that our telemetry systems are operating at optimal levels. This includes installation, maintenance, and management of telemetry systems, as well as providing technical support and training to other team members.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installation, maintenance, and management of telemetry systems on Speedy's assets.
* Providing technical support and training to other team members.
* Working closely with the team to ensure that telemetry systems are operating at optimal levels.
Requirements:
* Full driving license.
* Previous experience working in single and three-phase AC electrics, ideally gained within the hire industry or similar engineering field.
* 12VDC and 24VDC electrics fault finding and ability to read wiring diagrams.
* An understanding of basic engine communication systems (CAN bus and MOD bus).
* Proficient computer skills, use of telemetry platforms.
* Ability to write technical reports.
* Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight when required.
