This modern library offers a diverse collection of books, eBooks, magazines, and multimedia resources, catering to all age groups and interests. With facilities including a family digitization station and 3D printing, study areas, meeting rooms, and a dedicated children's section, it provides a welcoming environment for all. * 21 hours per week
* Wednesday – Friday (9 AM – 5PM)
* Hours can be adjusted for the right candidate

* Salary: $79,250.97 - $91,138.62 plus 12% Super (prorate)

The Role
This purpose of this role is to work within the Local History team and support the Local History Team Leader, to ensure the safe keeping of the vibrant and extensive Local History collection, to assist with digitization and archival work ; to assist community and Council with Local History enquiries.
About You
* Diploma in Museum and Archival Studies, or Library Studies or similar, or studying towards
* Proven experience working with archival or local history collections
* Demonstrated technology skills and a high level of digital literacy
* Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and sound conflict resolution skills and ability to deal with difficult customers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals and organisations
* Proven project, organisational and time management skills, a flexible approach to work and willingness to embrace change
* Current Working with Children Check.
