As a Solution Architect, we'll call on your unique talents, skills, expertise, and experience to:
* Provide vision, leadership, architectural guidance, and expertise for our software solutions to meet business objectives, while assuring alignment with the Best Practice business, strategic direction, and Solution Architecture;
* Lead, facilitate or contribute to end-to-end solutions design for complex projects or business problems;
* Develop quality solution architecture options and technical cost estimates working collaboratively with business and delivery teams;
* Provide technical expertise in at least one of the following areas: data management, security and authentication, user interface design and development, technical infrastructure and cloud solution development, API, and micro-service development;
* Enhance the overall Chief Technology Officer portfolio knowledge and skills in specific areas of technical excellence;
* Document solution architectures and contribute to the architecture repository providing reusable processes, models, and deliverables;
* Create solution prototypes to address business problems, facilitate the further development of these into a production environment;
* Lead and participate in cross-functional teams on process improvement that benefit customers and their user experience; and
* Review, interpret and respond to business requirements to ensure alignment with current and future architecture strategies.
We believe our ideal applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
* A demonstrated professional work ethic;
* Proven experience developing "Greenfield" applications, prototypes and Proof of Concept applications using agile practices;
* Professional skills in desktop and cloud software and industry related programs;
* Professional skills in written and verbal communication;
* Effective time management skills and the ability to set and meet deadlines for others;
* Graduate qualifications in an appropriate software development discipline or equivalent experience; and
* Familiarity with the tasks undertaken by a Solution Architect, including a minimum of 3 years' experience in Solution Architecture, and 10 years' experience in software development with substantial technical experience in a few key areas.
