At Status Employment Services, we know that employment changes lives. As part of the employment journey, our Participants have dedicated support to access employers in their area and community. We know that our Participants often need access to essential supports- housing, financial help, mental health services, as well as a foot in the door to an employment opportunity.
That is where you come in!
We are looking for Employer Engagement Consultant to join our team and lead the charge in building strong, effective partnerships with local employers and community organisations. Your background in sales and community services, or both, will help our Participants, people with disability and other barriers to employment, get the support they need to move forward in their lives and into long-term sustainable employment.
Responsibilities
The Opportunity: You will be the connector between jobs and Participants - building strong relationships with local employers to uncover real job opportunities for our Participants. You will bring your sales and marketing experience along with your ability to engage employers, promote services, and identify opportunities to support employment outcomes for people with disability. You will have an insight into local labor markets and business needs, with a focus on matching employers to the right person whilst fostering inclusive employment outcomes that stick! You will thrive in this space, working closely with our service delivery teams, and play a key role in shaping the future of our Participants through meaningful work.

a track record of driving results and achieving performance targets
Qualifications in Certificate III in Employment Services, Community Services, Disability Services or similar, or a willingness to complete a formal qualification, fully supported by Status, as part of your employment journey with us
