* Familiarity with air conditioning systems, chillers, hot water and steam boilers, steam systems, and principles of sterilization
* Broad knowledge across multiple trades—such as mechanical, plumbing, steam, air conditioning and refrigeration, carpentry, electrical, and electronic controls—particularly as they relate to hospital equipment and facilities
Strong communication skills are critical, including the ability to cultivate stakeholder partnerships and maintain reliable professional networks.
The role demands demonstrated proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), as well as the ability to accurately record information and prepare high-quality written reports, including maintenance programs.
