The Opportunity
Due to continued growth within our organisation, Power Enviro is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team.
This role is suited to someone looking for long-term stability within a well-structured and growing business. We are seeking a capable professional with at least 5 years' experience who brings initiative, attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability.
In This Role, You Will:
* Ensure expenses are authorised in accordance with delegated approval limits
* Match, code and process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
* Prepare and process supplier payments – Weekly and EOM
* Perform bank account and credit card reconciliations
* Process general journals and EOM recurring journals
* Maintain vendor data and ensure compliance with internal processes
* Manage phone and email enquiries, providing a high level of service to staff and clients
* Oversee fleet, equipment and asset administration for compliance and internal reporting
* Manage company fuel cards and toll accounts
* Shared mailbox management for workflow allocation
What You'll Bring:
* Minimum 5 years experience in Accounts Payable (corporate environment preferred)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
* Professional presentation and manner
* Positive contribution to team culture
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word essential)
* Experience using large ERP systems — Microsoft Business Central, Great Plains or NAV preferred
