About the Job
This is a key position that assists with the efficient andeffective maintenance and operation of the Shire's Wylie Bay WasteManagement Facility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Operate equipment predominantly forklift.
* Operate other plant equipment including bailing machine,small truck compactor and loader (training available whererequired).
* Supervise a small group of employees.
* Undertake minor maintenance of machinery.
* Labouring tasks as required.
This is a full time position, working 38 hours per week.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you musthave:
* A forklift ticket plus demonstrated experience operating aforklift.
* Well developed teamwork, time management and organisationalskills.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of routine plant maintenancerequirements.
Salary: $73,600.00per annum
Permanent staff are entitled to:
* 5 weeks annual leave per year
* The option of one Rostered Day Off (RDO) every 4 weeks inexchange for working 40 hours per week.
* Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
* Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of5%
