About the Role
Based at Heatherbrae and reporting to the Head of Strategic Procurement, the Contracts Management Specialist leads the creation, negotiation, and management of commercial contracts while driving supplier performance and compliance. They play a key part in resolving issues, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The role is a 12‐month fixed‐term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish mechanisms to ensure contracts are effectively governed both within and outside of the procurement function.
* Manage and adjust complex and strategic contracts to meet the intent of the business need and continue to add value.
* Develop the overall plan for contract administration and set priorities and targets for renewal and extensions based on the business needs and market conditions.
* Lead expert reference groups for key areas of spend and effectively work with business partners to support procurement programs and supply chain initiatives.
* Develop risk mitigation strategies for complex procurement arrangements.
* Consult throughout the organisation to support the development of strategic and high‐risk contracts and supplier relationships.
* Establish mechanisms to ensure supplier relationships are effectively governed both within and outside of the procurement function.
About You
You bring a relevant undergraduate qualification in business, management, or a related discipline, complemented by hands‐on experience in a similar role. You have a proven ability in project management, supported by strong digital and analytical skills. Your effective time management ensures deadlines are consistently met, and your adaptability allows you to respond to change both laterally and strategically. You excel at building solid working relationships, thriving in small teams and cross‐functional environments. With excellent communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a demonstrated ability to engage in high‐level liaison and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders, you bring strong negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset to every challenge.
