Capricorn Metals Ltd is an industry‐leading Australian gold producer offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and people‐focused Recruitment Officer to join our corporate team. Capricorn operates in two distinct project regions in Western Australia: the Karlawinda Gold Project in the Pilbara region and the Mt Gibson Gold Project, currently under development in the Mid‐West region. This role plays a critical part in supporting our ongoing growth.
About the role
This role leads the recruitment process for our mining projects and suits someone who thrives on high‐volume recruitment, loves working at pace, and enjoys working as a team while ensuring everything runs smoothly and we meet project needs and industry standards. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Coordinator, you will join a supportive and driven team.
What you'll do
* Manage end‐to‐end recruitment across multiple sites
* Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and project resourcing needs
* Source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates
* Draft and manage job advertisements across job boards and social platforms
* Prepare employment offers and manage associated recruitment administration
* Assist and support mobilisation, onboarding and pre‐employment compliance processes
* Respond to internal and external recruitment enquiries
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and support leaders with recruitment best practice
* Contribute to employer branding and recruitment initiatives
Skills and Experience required
* Cert IV in Human Resources or 2 years' practical experience in recruitment and HR employee relations
* Strong end‐to‐end recruitment experience in mining or a similar heavy industry or a blue‐collar environment
* Understanding of FIFO/DIDO workforce models
* Confident in candidate screening and interviewing processes
* Ability to prioritise and manage own workflowStrong written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage time‐sensitive processes
* Embraces teamwork, but able to work autonomously
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
