Contract Administrator Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at Perkins Builders in the Bunbury Head Office.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have experience as a Contract Administrator on commercial construction projects and will be responsible for managing construction projects from an administration and contractual perspective, ensuring the successful execution of these projects including profitability, time performance, client and subcontractor relationships.
Main Responsibilities
* Work closely with site managers surrounding all on-site activities and project management.
* Establish, maintain and update all records of correspondence related to project activity.
* Obtaining all permits and construction documentation and ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
* Liaising with subcontractors to obtain the most competitive prices, placing orders and general issues regarding the project.
* Prepare financial reports including cost forecasts, cash flow monitoring, budgets and variation and progress claims, relative to the project.
* Liaising with the client on a regular basis to keep them abreast of project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
* Comply with Perkins Builders Quality Assurance and BMS requirements.
Requirements
* A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
* Project Administration experience in the commercial construction industry.
* An excellent negotiator, problem solver and multi-tasker.
* A strong communicator with great attention to detail.
* An excellent time manager with the ability to develop and learn internal processes and procedures.
* A valid Driver's Licence and White Card.
