An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Trust Account Manager to join our Property Management team.
In this exciting new role, you will look after the Trust accounting from top to bottom.
Reporting to the Residential Property Manager, your average day will include (but won't be limited to):
1. General accounts management, including processing Lessor invoices for payment
2. Receipt rent daily and issue receipts of all rental monies across the centralised FV portfolio
3. Daily bank reconciliations
4. Complete Mid and End of month transaction process as required and in accordance with the relevant Acts
5. Manage the disbursement of all creditors in line with payment terms
6. Liaise with Property Managers to ensure sufficient funds are available to process owner invoices
7. Manage Tenancy Bonds including collation of bond forms and disbursement of funds to the RTA
8. Prepare trust account documents including bank statements in preparation for auditing
9. Ensure trust account audit reports / records are kept in the office and easily accessible if required
10. Maintain the tenant banklink register for all rent payments to ensure accurate allocation
11. Manage any change of ownership due to sale in the property management software including settlement rent disbursements
12. Ensure all funds in and out of the trust account have appropriate signatory and approval
13. All balances and unknown deposits are lodged with the public trustee as required
With approximately 560 apartments under management, this is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment so your ability to multi-task will see you in good stead. We are looking for that go to person that will take control of the Trust and maintain communication between departments. The position requires an autonomous worker who is self-driven.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess;
14. Minimum two years experience in a similar role within Real Estate
15. Appropriate Real Estate or Sales License in Queensland
16. Property management experience desired (but not required)
17. Proven organisational and communication skills
18. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel
