Front of House Manager Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Front of House Manager, where you will be responsible for overseeing all front of house operations.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in events management or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all front of house operations, including appointment, training, and scheduling of FOH staff.
* Oversee all box office activities, including ticket builds, website content, financial reconciliation, and staff rostering.
* Provide information directly to organizations and associations interested in the events and concerts series presented at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
* Perform an important role in maintaining internal and external client satisfaction, contributing to the core business success of the SCM.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in events management or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
* Experience with box office ticketing systems, including system administration, event building, reporting, and maintenance.
* Strong client service orientation with previous high-level experience in a box office environment.
* Advanced computer skills and experience, including database management, Microsoft Office, and network communications event and resource management systems, box office and CMS website management system.
* Experience in marketing and promotion in the arts community.
* Demonstrated experience in providing supervisory skills, with a focus on team building and the ability to train and develop staff.
