About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to join our Brisbane team on a 12 month maternity leave contract with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
This position is Monday to Friday with flexible working arrangements, and may include occasional travel to our branches.
As a Recruitment Consultant at Freo Group, you'll play a key role in sourcing top talent across our Eastern Region. From building strong pipelines to engaging skilled blue and white-collar candidates, you'll ensure we meet the recruitment needs of our business.
Responsibilities:
* Manage recruitment and onboarding through our systems (Workday and Onboarded)
* Manage recruitment for the Eastern Region, predominantly blue-collar roles with some white-collar recruitment
* Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess skills and experience
* Developing and maintaining relationships with clients / internal stakeholders to understand their specific hiring needs
* Coordinate candidate placements with clients
* Providing ongoing support to both internal stakeholders and candidates throughout the recruitment process
* Manage the onboarding process for successful candidates using the onboarding platform

We are after people with the following attributes:
* 3-5 years' experience as a recruiter
* Experience recruiting in the blue-collar sector, particularly within construction or mining, will be highly regarded
* Strong systems capability, with experience across HRIS and recruitment platforms such as Workday and FastTrack360 highly regarded
* Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
Mandatory Requirements:

* Ability to work Monday to Friday
* National police clearance - within 12 months old or ability to apply
* Pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement
