We are currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist who is enthusiastic and motivated to join our multi-disciplinary pharmacy team. Supported to undertake the AdPha Foundational residency program, this role is ideal for those passionate about Aboriginal health and delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services. The health setting in the Northern Territory offers unique opportunities and diverse clinical presentations not found elsewhere in Australia. Short-term on-site accommodation may be available for a nominal rent, subject to availability.

Pharmacy Team
The pharmacy team is a multi-disciplinary group providing medicines management services as part of the broader NT Health Care Team. We aim to optimize the quality use of medicines through innovative patient care to improve the health of Territorians.
The pharmacy department is modern and progressive, spanning two campuses, with a team of 40 pharmacists, 27 pharmacy technicians, and 4 intern pharmacists. We focus on workforce culture and professional development.
Services include:
* Ward-based clinical and drug information services
* In-patient and out-patient dispensing
* Medication Safety and AMS
* Regional pharmacy services for remote health centres
RDH Pharmacy operates a full service from 8am – 4:21pm Monday to Friday, with limited services on weekends and public holidays. PRH Pharmacy operates from 8am – 4:21pm weekdays and dispensary from 9am – 1pm on Saturdays. Hours include participation in weekend and on-call rosters.
Royal Darwin and Palmerston Regional Hospitals
Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH) is a fully accredited tertiary teaching hospital with over 400 beds, offering medical, surgical, paediatric, and specialty services including Aboriginal health, renal medicine, critical care, tropical diseases, mental health, and hyperbaric medicine.
Palmerston Regional Hospital (PRH) is a Level 3 hospital with 116 beds, providing emergency care, rehabilitation, geriatrics, medical ward, day surgery, maternity outpatient, and outpatient services.
The Department of Health maintains a Smoke-Free Policy. Staff are prohibited from smoking on premises, facilities, vehicles, or off-site during work hours.
