Yes - Flexibility is essential, as some days may require staying slightly longer with advance notice from the family when evening support is required, or simply to complete essential end-of-day duties.
This family would like: A professional and experienced nanny/mother's help/housekeeper is required for a role within a private family home. The position involves working closely with a highly hands-on stay-at-home mother who maintains clear household routines, systems, and expectations. The successful candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, honest, and possess strong work ethics and values.
We are seeking someone who is soft-spoken, kind, patient, and emotionally aware, with a genuine love for children and family life. The role requires a person who can work confidently within a structured environment, follow established household guidelines, and collaborate effectively as part of a team—both with the mother and the second nanny.
The ideal candidate is professional, calm, grounded, discreet and respectful of privacy. They must be detail-focused, organised, reliable, and comfortable in a structured environment. They should be warm with the children, supportive to the parents, and able to follow direction without taking correction personally.
Reliability is essential. The family expects the candidate to attend work consistently, punctually, and on all agreed-upon days, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to the role.
The successful candidate will occasionally work alongside the family's long-term part-time nanny, who has been with the family for 4 years. Strong teamwork, communication, and respect are essential to ensure smooth coordination within the household.
You must have or be willing to get:
* Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
* Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
* Have a car & driver's licence
* Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
* Have or be willing to obtain Nanny Insurance (otherwise, there is the option to be covered under the Agency's policy for an annual fee)
* Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example: visa 190 or visa 186. Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
