GSL Education are searching for a skilled Maths Teacher to work with schools in Wakefield, delivering engaging lessons that make mathematics clear, accessible, and enjoyable for all learners.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that develop students' understanding of key mathematical concepts, encourage logical thinking, and support them in achieving their academic potential in a supportive classroom environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Encourage problem-solving, reasoning, and numerical confidence.
* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
* Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
* Support students of varying abilities through differentiated learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience working as a Maths Teacher in a school setting.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
