Westpac is a local business who put the customers at the centre of what they do. As a Teller you will be a natural people person with a passion for your local community and helping them with their everyday banking. We will train you to have real conversations tailored to what your customers' need, in a way they understand and can relate to.
**How will I help?**
As a Teller, you will be the first point of contact for all our in-branch customers, so we need you to be engaging and professional. Our team are customer focussed and we love the work that we do.
- Your main responsibilities will include: _
- Having everyday banking conversations with customers
- Handling a variety of monetary transactions
- Identifying banking and lending needs, referring customers to the relevant Personal Banker or Mortgage Lender

**What you'll need to succeed**
The key skill you will need for this role is a genuine desire to help customers and deliver the best service every time. You may not have banking experience, but that's ok. We can teach you the banking side of the role. You will have a great attitude and a friendly manner and will be looking for that next role, where you can be your best.
