Facility / Operations Manager (Residential Manager) - Aged Care
Location:** South-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne
Lead a medium-sized, stunning retirement community located in the Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
We're looking for a hands-on leader with proven experience in clinical facility management, aged care commissioning, and budgeting. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, manage contractors, and deliver exceptional resident outcomes—all with strong support from a centralised team.
You will be responsible for the overall performance of the home, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality care while driving operational and financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide overall leadership and management of the residential aged care facility
* Ensure excellence in clinical governance, compliance, and resident care outcomes
* Lead aged care commissioning and re-commissioning, including operational readiness
* Manage budgets, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation, AN-ACC, and WHS requirements
* Oversee facilities, maintenance, and capital works programs
* Lead and support on-site teams, contractors, and service providers
* Work closely with a centralised Support Centre across Clinical Care, Quality & Risk, AN-ACC, Finance, and People & Culture
About You
* Proven experience as a Residential Manager, Facility Manager, or Operations Manager in aged care
* Strong background in clinical management within residential / retirement living
* Demonstrated experience in aged care commissioning
* Solid experience in budgeting, financial management, and reporting
* In-depth knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation, and governance
* Confident leader with strong stakeholder, staff, and contractor management skills
* AHPRA Registration
