Construction Contracts Coordinator
The Construction Contracts Coordinator plays a pivotal role in our organization by ensuring seamless contract administration for our strategic building projects.
This full-time position is based at our central office in Perth, where you will report directly to the Property Director. As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to oversee contract administration, guaranteeing timely and accurate execution.
Main Responsibilities:
* Contract Management: Prepare, manage, and review construction contracts to ensure compliance with commercial requirements.
* Payment Certificates: Review progress claims and issue payment certificates in accordance with contractual obligations.
* Variations and Extensions: Draft and prepare variations, delay notices, and extensions of time as necessary.
* Cost Control: Oversee job costing, cost reporting, and procurement processes to maintain fiscal accountability.
* Record-Keeping: Input and maintain records in the Medius Software System.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to facilitate effective communication.
* Compliance and Safety: Maintain document control and ensure adherence to Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying; or 10+ years of industry experience.
* Proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations.
* Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
* Construction Induction (White Card).
* Current Driver's Licence (with willingness to travel to regional locations as required).
* National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
