Coonamble Times & Western Plains App
We are seeking an experienced news editor to manage our two publications based out of Coonamble in western NSW for 3 to 6 months beginning 21 January 2026.
The Coonamble Times is a 20-page local newspaper published weekly in print and digital formats.
The Western Plains App is a mobile news app+website that serves 11 local government areas. News is published 3-4 times each day, seven days a week.
You would be managing an editorial staff of two full-time journalists and three remote part-time contracted journalists plus 1.6 FTE administration/sales/production staff.
The current editor is stepping aside but will be available for support and guidance.
