Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
* Salary range: $144,991 to $151,289 p.a. (HP5)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* On-call and/or shifts allowances (where applicable)
* Professional development allowance & leave
* Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity
The position delivers advanced Occupational Therapy services to stakeholders/consumers within Townsville University Hospital to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research. This includes clinical leadership, implementing and monitoring operational activities and leading professional governance activities for a team of Occupational Therapists working in the acute wards.
You will be working in a supportive and friendly department where autonomy and innovation are highly valued, and ongoing learning and professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported.
Requirements:
* The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy, and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
* Roster: This position is required to work on weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis through the Departments Weekend Service.
Highly desirable
Relevant post graduate education or formal qualifications.
