Job Opportunity in Agronomy
This is a unique research position that requires a highly motivated researcher specialising in agronomy to work at the forefront of agricultural systems science.
The role involves working in a dynamic multidisciplinary team to identify the next frontier in dryland farming systems in Australia's Southern Grains Region (SGR).
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting original research and working with growers and agronomists to co-create innovative tools and solutions.
* Planning and managing agronomic/farming system field trials including undertaking soil and plant sampling and assessment.
* Analysing data from field trials using widely applied software packages or computing languages.
Requirements:
* PhD or equivalent experience in agricultural science, environmental science, or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in planning and managing agronomic/farming system field trials.
* Knowledge of dryland farming systems and an ability to interact with growers and agronomists.
