Milestone IT is Partnering with a leading Healthcare Organisation in Melbourne who are looking for an Individual that is dedicated to delivering accurate and efficient payroll solutions.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Consultant with hands-on experience in using Chris (or a similar payroll software). In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert payroll support to our client, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data. You will collaborate closely with the payroll team to understand their unique payroll needs and provide customised solutions using the Chris software. This is a client-facing role, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather payroll requirements and understand their business needs
- Configure and maintain payroll parameters, tax tables, and deduction codes in the Chris payroll software
- Process and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
- Generate payroll reports and assist with data analysis
- Stay updated on the latest payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
- Provide training and support to clients on using the Chris payroll software effectively

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Payroll Consultant or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Chris (or a similar payroll software)
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Strong customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
- Experience working with diverse clients across different industries
- Familiarity with other payroll software and systems
