We are seeking an experienced Content Designer / Content Writer to join a large-scale regulatory reform and digital transformation program within a federal government environment.
This role will support the delivery of user-focused communication and digital content across a high-profile national program aimed at improving transparency, stakeholder engagement and service delivery outcomes.
Working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary program team, you will be responsible for creating clear, engaging and accessible content for both internal and external audiences.
You will help translate complex policy, regulatory and operational information into user-centric content that supports organisational objectives and improves stakeholder understanding and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and refine operational, strategic and digital content
* Create user-focused communication materials including guides, reports, presentations and online content
* Work closely with stakeholders across business and delivery teams to ensure consistency of messaging and communication standards
* Apply user research and service design principles to improve content quality and accessibility
* Provide advice on content strategy, communication approaches and best practices
* Support continuous improvement of content processes, standards and workflows
Skills & Experience Required
* Demonstrated experience creating content for digital platforms
* Strong writing and editing capability with the ability to simplify complex information
* Experience developing content for diverse stakeholder groups
* Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation capability
* Ability to work in a fast-paced project or program environment
* Experience contributing to communication strategy and content best practice initiatives
Highly Regarded
* Background in communications, journalism, content design or related discipline
* Experience within government, regulatory or transformation environments
* Familiarity with digital marketing, SEO or content management systems
* Strong research and analytical capability
Additional Information
* Contract through to December 2026 + potential for 18 month extension
* Hybrid working arrangements available
* Baseline Security Clearance required
