Exciting career opportunity for an experienced Survey Manager to run their own office and manage their own team on the Gold Coast.
Our client requires a Survey Manager, to play a pivotal role in overseeing all surveying operations and ensuring successful project delivery for civil and construction clients. This full-time position offers the chance to utilise your strong technical expertise and leadership skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
About the client
Is a leading provider of high-quality surveying services to the civil and construction industry who is seeking to establish a base on the Gold Coast to capitalise on the strong pipeline of work in the South-East Corner.
What you'll be doing
* Manage a team of surveyors and technical staff to deliver high-quality surveying services
* Oversee the planning, scheduling and coordination of all survey projects
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and health and safety requirements
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team
* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice
* Prepare detailed survey reports and documentation
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions
What we're looking for
* Registered Surveyor with SBQ or BOSSI or Certified with Surveyors Australia
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Surveyor
* A willingness to lead a small team, with the requirement to be a 'hands-on' manager. This is not solely an office based role!
* Excellent project management skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Strong skills with 12d Software
* An individual who wants the chance to grow the business and develop junior team members
