**Location**
This iconic resort is situated between the renowned Excellent Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland.
The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.
**Department**
Reporting directly to our Purchasing Supervisor, we are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Storeperson.
**Responsibilities include and are not limited to:**
+ Responsibility for overseeing receipt, issues and storage of inventory into the resort
+ Ensuring that processes for inventory management are in line with OHS, HACCP requirements and company policies and minimise risk/damage and stock loss
+ Completing required reporting and documentation as per department requirements
+ Maintain established maximum/minimum stock levels of all items under stores responsibility
+ Ensuring maintenance issues are reported to Purchasing Supervisor and / or Engineering
+ Issue inventory items from approved requisitions in accordance with issue timetable on a First In, First Out (F.I.F.O.) basis
+ Keep all storeroom areas at the highest level of sanitation and cleanliness in line with Marriott HACCP procedures

+ Good physical ability to meet requirements of the position
+ Previous experience in a Purchasing / Storeperson role (Mandatory)
+ Forklift License (Mandatory)
