We are seeking a dynamic payroll subject matter professional to join our high-performing Payroll team as Senior Payroll Officer.
The successful candidate will have a high level of experience in payroll and payroll systems, and will be a trusted point of contact for stakeholders, providing expert knowledge of payroll legislation and ensuring swift and accurate query resolution.
This is an exceptional opportunity to take a senior role in payroll, contributing to a team committed to excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.
You will be working in a team of three, processing payroll for 420+ staff using Payroll Metrics processing fortnightly & will be utilising UKG also for timesheets and rostered hours.
You will be a pivotal part of our People and Culture team which has a fun, professional, driven and cohesive working culture.
What a successful candidate looks like
* Relevant qualification/experience in Payroll/Accountancy or other relevant discipline recognised in Australia
* 5 years' experience working in a similar role
* Experience working with UKG is highly desirable (as we are bringing on a new system)
* Experience with Payroll Metrics (payroll system) is highly desired
* The ability to work autonomously
* A problem solver with an analytical approach to big picture thinking
* Demonstrated understanding of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Awards (SCHCADS) is essential
OzChild is offering:
* A Full time maximum term role till January 2027 - role commencing ASAP
* Salary $95,000 - $100,000 (negotiable upon experience) plus super and salary packaging
* $15,900 plus $2,650 meals and entertainment
* Hybrid working conditions (working from home)
