Position overview
The National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health at the Australian National University is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head the National Centre for Health Workforce Studies (NCHWS) – a national academic hub for health workforce data, modelling, research, and education.
As Director, you'll shape the Centre's strategic direction, lead multidisciplinary teams, engage high-level government and industry stakeholders, and oversee both postgraduate and professional education programs.
We're looking for someone with:
* A strong track record in research, policy, or workforce planning
* Experience with large-scale health data and modelling
* Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
* A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. epidemiology, health systems, health economics)
