About the Role:
We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team in Townsville. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for wage employees within Wilmar Sugar and Renewables.
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative payroll team, you will contribute to delivering reliable payroll services while helping drive process improvements and efficiencies. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this position is responsible for the weekly processing of payroll for our Wages employees, while supporting payroll operations and responding to employee queries.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll processes run smoothly, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll for wage employees accurately and on timeInvestigate and resolve payroll queries from employees and stakeholdersSupport payroll reporting and reconciliation activitiesAssist with payroll-related projects and system/process improvementsCollaborate with the payroll team to ensure deadlines are met and processes run efficiently
