Senior Property Assessor | Multiple Locations | Hybrid Working
We are looking for an experienced property assessor to manage claim outcomes and provide technical expertise.
Responsibilities
* Maintain timely delivery of property claims outcomes that meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Liaise with claimants, repairers and other stakeholders to drive timely decision making.
* Assess indemnity, liability of claims, costs and validity of building and remediation scope of works.
* Assess remediation and ensure safe claims and costs.
* Review building and remediation cause of damage reports including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
* Identify defects and non‐compliance repairs using Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
Qualifications
* Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor qualification through ANZIIF.
* Extensive property assessing and customer service experience.
* Comprehensive technical knowledge of insurance and loss theories and practices.
* Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing demands.
* Demonstrated technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
