$107,723.72 - $119,029.04 gross per annum + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2025), plus potential performance-based progression. Council is seeking a skilled engineer to help pave the paths, roads and other civil construction projects that connect and transform our region.
In this role you will
- Lead and develop the planning and delivery of civil construction projects in the region.
- Prepare project estimates, secure funding, and coordinate approvals with stakeholders.
- Oversee construction projects to ensure timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and adherence to budget.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal staff, external contractors, and community stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who
- Holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering as well as relevant working experience.
- Has demonstrated ability to apply project management methodologies and theories to identify problems and solutions.
- Possesses excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to planning and delivering work within set timeframes.
