You are someone who knows that a ticket is only as good as the "Why" behind it, and you thrive in the space balancing the technical logic of the platform with the growth goals of the business.Working alongside a Product Manager, UX Lead, and Tech Lead, you will focus on the Marketplace Platform, balancing the needs of our Sellers with the growth and NPS of our end customers. You understand that a seamless seller experience is the essential foundation for a world-class journey for the end customer.You will be part of the Woolworths MarketPlus team that connects sellers with customers buying products on BIG W Marketplace, Everyday Market (Woolworths) and Everyday Rewards Shop. * As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for gathering stakeholder needs and translating them into detailed functional requirements and documentation, providing clarity to the delivery teams throughout the software lifecycle.* Translate high-level business goals into clear, detailed functional requirements, precise, executable technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.* Partner with the PM and UX Lead to identify friction points for both sellers and customers. You'll bring structure to ambiguity, turning growth initiatives and high-level strategy into validated functional logic.* Act as the primary liaison between business units, product, engineering, and QA teams.* You'll slice complex platform requirements into thin, high-value vertical slices, ensuring the Engineering team has the clarity to maintain momentum without losing sight of the customer impact.* Bring your "Product-Led" brain to our ways of working. You will innovate in how things are documented and sliced, creating the templates and best-practice frameworks for Platform Automation that allow our marketplace to scale.* Analyse current processes, identify pain points, and propose innovative platform solutions.**What you'll bring*** 5-7 years experience as a Product Owner or a Business Analyst* A natural "investigator" mindset with curiosity & systems thinking* You know how to take a complex solution and break it down into an MVP that delivers immediate value while allowing for continuous optimisation.* Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies including running ceremonies and slicing user stories, contributing effectively to a high-pace delivery environment.* You bring a toolkit of best practices for documentation and automation that makes the hand-off between Product, UX, and Engineering seamless.* Proven success in driving momentum in high-paced environments.### Key skills* You possess sharp problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail when tackling complex operational challenges.* You have the ability to translate complex platform dynamics into simple, functional narratives.* Expert-level ability to break down requirements into executable, value-driven increments.
