Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Contact Support Worker.
In this position, you will be responsible for promoting the wellbeing of children during supervised visits or changeovers.
As a Contact Support Worker, you will supervise interactions and behaviours to ensure children feel safe and comfortable.
You will work closely with families to empower them through safe connections.
This is a part-time opportunity based in Bunbury, working every second Saturday.
About You:
* You must hold a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Community Services or relevant field, or be working towards a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field.
* You should have knowledge of the impact on children and families of issues such as Family Separation, Family and domestic violence, Mental Health, drug and Alcohol misuse, and Trauma.
* Strong focus on supporting children and adults to enhance relationship development, as well as identifying and responding to safety and risk issues, is essential.
* A commitment to child-focused and child-inclusive practice is expected.
* Ability to work weekends and attend after-hours training is required.
Requirements:
* Current National Police Clearance
* WA Working with Children Check
* WA Driver's Licence
What We Offer:
* Base rate of $38.66 per hour + weekend penalties + 12% superannuation
