About the role:
We are seeking a Mechanical Team Leader for our Sunshine Coast team due to ongoing growth. This position provides leadership to technicians on a daily basis.
Your responsibilities include:
* Maintenance and repair of mechanical plant, including HVAC systems, piping, mechanical layouts, and control systems
* Supporting daily operations, breakdowns, and contract servicing
* Supervising and supporting apprentices and HVAC technicians
* Contract management and deliverables
* Quoting and managing small projects
* Diagnosing HVAC system issues
* Motivating the team to enhance customer satisfaction
* Meeting with clients to review assignments and resolve issues
As a Team Leader, you should handle ambiguity well and believe in teamwork. You must manage multiple priorities through excellent planning, organization, and time management skills. A curiosity for learning and a collaborative mindset are essential. You should also be commercially aware, focused on meeting targets while managing risks and margins.
Requirements:
* 5+ years relevant experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
