Job Description:
The Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service is a vital component of the Mental Health Service Group, providing comprehensive support to individuals and communities in need. Our team of dedicated professionals works tirelessly to deliver a range of services, including intake and assessment, outpatient withdrawal, opiate substitution programs, Diversionary and Recovery Teams, counseling, health promotion, and culturally appropriate support.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate clinician to join our team as an Alcohol and Other Drugs Clinician. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals, families, and groups to provide evidence-based assessments and interventions aimed at minimizing harm from substance use.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to address complex social issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for individuals and groups
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
* Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of client progress
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
* Mandatory qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Nursing
* Proof of registration/membership (if applicable)
* Possession of a Class C driver's license
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role
