Join our maintenance team as a leading hand where you will be responsible for leading a crew of skilled trades that maintain our HME equipment on site.
The Weld Range Project, owned by Fenix Resources, is located in the Pilbara region of WA's Mid West, approximately 362 km north-east of Geraldton. The project includes the Iron Ridge mine, with Beebyn-W11 forming an extension of this successful operation to help grow overall production toward 6 Mtpa.
Some of our fleet on this project include Komatsu PC1250 & Liebherr 9200 excavators, Komatsu HD785-7 trucks, CAT ancillary equipment D9 dozer, 16H grader and Komatsu HD785 watercart.
To be successful in this role, you will require
* Previous experience leading a crew in mobile plant maintenance department on a operating mine site.
* Possess a positive leadership style, with exceptional time‐management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities while providing guidance, assistance, and supervision to the maintenance team.
* Manage performance, planning servicing, repair and preventative maintenance on our heavy mobile mining equipment.
* Ensure work health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
* Ensure all required paperwork is completed to a high standard by tradespeople.
* Must be proactive in the workplace to ensure quality work is being completed.
* Ability to build positive relationships between your key stakeholders – supervisors, superintendents, tradespeople etc.
