The Opportunity:

Community Disability Support Worker
located in
Clarence Valley
.
You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different, but your work will be centered around the following:
Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
Providing support with hygiene and personal care
Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
Assisting with medication compliance, which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
Meal assistance, which may include meal preparation
What shifts are we offering?
Monday 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
7 hrs on weekdays
3 hrs on weekends
Shifts will be allocated based on rostering needs
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
At least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker
NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 years), CPR (12 months), and National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
Kind, caring, good energy, community-minded
Quick learner, ability to absorb information
