Victoria University Psychology Clinic The Victoria University Psychology Clinic provides post-graduate students in the Master of Clinical Psychology and Master of Professional Psychology programs at VU with the opportunity to provide psychological therapy and cognitive assessment services to the public from a diverse cultural and age range. The university ensures that students engaging in this clinical placement are registered and practicing as provisional psychologists and receive the necessary supervision requirements as stipulated by AHPRA regulations to ensure all competencies are met. The supervision of the students on clinical placement ensures safety of the public by providing students with individual and/or group supervision in relation to competencies relating to all individual psychological therapy treatment and intervention provided, as well as psychological services in relation to psychological testing and conducting cognitive assessments. About The Role As a sessional Supervisor, you will provide high quality supervision aligned with AHPRA guidelines, with a particular focus on cognitive assessment. You will support provisional psychologists in building competence and confidence across various domains of psychological practice. Supervision services are to occur for the full length of the student’s clinical placement and can be provided in person or online. Key Responsibilities Provide individual supervision to provisional psychologistsGuide supervisees in conducting scoring, interpreting, and reporting on cognitive and educational assessments (e.g., WAIS-IV, WISC-V, WPPSI, WIAT-IV)Support the development of clinical reasoning, ethical practice, and professional identityMaintain documentation in line with AHPRA standards Essential Criteria Current general registration with AHPRAEndorsement in Clinical, Educational & Developmental, or NeuropsychologyBoard Approved Supervisor statusDemonstrated competence in cognitive assessment across the lifespanStrong interpersonal, communication, and reflective practice skills Application Closing Date: 22/06/2025 11:59 PM (AEST) Who Do You Contact?
