This APS 5 ICT Business Analyst position in the Directorate of Navy Governance participates in the ongoing development, update and sustainment of the Navy Business Management System (NBMS). You will be instrumental in maintaining the Navy Library’s digital content within the NBMS in support of an established digital publish cycle. You will also be a key member of a small, cross-collaborating team, involved in the analysis and process mapping of Navy’s systems of management, processes and procedures within Holocentric Modeler.
You will also be responsible for acquiring and applying business analysis methods and techniques in order to assist other Navy Library stakeholders in the digitisation, maintenance and development of their respective Navy Library governance content. Well-developed Holocentric Modeler or equivalent Content Management System (CMS) administration skills are essential.
Some of the key duties of this role are:
* Maintenance of digital information in the Navy Library Holocentric Modeler systems.
* Within the integrated framework of Navy Library/NBMS Holocentric system:
o Engage with Navy stakeholders to analyse their business requirements;
o Train and assist Navy stakeholders with the digitisation and maintenance of governance content
* Assist the Navy Library Lead Modellers and Managers with conducting quality assurances and business improvement activities.
About our Team
Working to the Director Navy Governance, you will be part of a team which currently consists of a blended ADF and APS workforce. The key part of your role will be working in the Navy Library Program to provide Holocentric support services to assist Sub-Library Managers and Navy governance stakeholders with maintaining their digitised governance content.
With your Holocentric skillsets, you will be a key member of the Navy Library Program team, accountable for providing Holocentric support to the Navy Library publication repository and the NBMS. You will also be pivotal in assisting Navy’s Domain Policy Officers and Functional Level Policy Officers with their update of their content within the digital Navy Library throughout the Library’s monthly publish cycles.
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have well developed Holocentric skills, and preferably a background in either digital content administration, business analysis, system analysis, testing or process mapping.
To succeed in this role, applicants will be required to demonstrate:
* Well-developed Holocentric skills or equivalent Content Management Systems (CMS).
* Well-developed stakeholder management skills.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small, high performing team; and
* Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with government security requirements.

Security Clearance:
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at Negative Vetting Level 1.
