The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
* Manage daily store operations, ensuring cleanliness, security, and smooth workflow
* Handle cash management and oversee financial transactions
* Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Sales & Performance
* Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets
* Analyse sales data and implement strategies to improve performance
* Promote and advertise the store's goods and services
* Maximise profitability through effective pricing and promotions
Inventory & Purchasing
* Determine product mix and maintain optimal stock levels
* Order merchandise and manage stock replenishment
* Maintain accurate stock records and control inventory costs
Staff Management
* Recruit, interview, train, and supervise staff
* Prepare employee work schedules
* Motivate and lead the team to achieve store objectives
Customer Service
* Sell goods and services and advise customers on product use
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
* Maintain high service standards and build customer loyalty
Merchandising
* Plan and create attractive product displays
* Implement in-store promotional materials
Financial Management
* Prepare and manage store budgets
* Track costs and maintain financial records
