Control Systems Engineer Opportunity

The role of Control Systems Engineer is crucial to the success of our manufacturing facility. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading control system upgrade projects and collaborating with external providers.

Responsibilities include:
* Leading in-house control system upgrade projects, including project management and coordination.
* Supporting third-party contractors with larger plant upgrades, ensuring consistent application of site standards.
* Participating in breakdown rectification activities and maintenance program reviews, providing insight into control systems architecture.
* Mentoring production team engineers to enhance their ability to resolve equipment faults independently.
* Developing and implementing standards and policies to ensure efficient work practices across the site.
* Providing guidance and oversight for all electrical equipment installations and compliance.
The successful candidate must possess:
* A Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic or related discipline).
* 5+ Years experience with automated manufacturing facilities.
* Proficiency in programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, including experience with communication buses/networks.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong problem-solving skills using root cause analysis tools.
Desirable skills and experience include:
* Familiarity with Lean and 6 Sigma.
* Familiarity with Ignition SCADA.
* Experience working in hazardous environments or with dangerous goods storage and handling.
