We are an established French bakery located in Alexandra Headland, and we are seeking a talented Baker/Pastry chef/Tourier to join our team.
This is a full-time role. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards and reputation of our renowned bakery.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, traditional French cakes and other baked goods to our exacting standards
Crafting specialty items such as croissants, Danish pastries, and artisanal breads
Ensuring all products are presented beautifully and in line with our brand
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and recipes
Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
What we're looking for
Formal training or qualifications in baking/patisserie
Demonstrated experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality baked goods
Robust time management and organisational skills to meet production deadlines
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with kitchen staff
Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing baked products
