All practitioners on Abby Health are fully licensed, Australian-based nurse practitioners (NPs) with telehealth experience and adherence to medical guidelines to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
The Role
We offer fully remote / flexible / full time / part time / casual opportunities across Australia, 7 days a week from 5:30am to 11:30pm. We provide a transparent and competitive remuneration model.
- $150+ per hour, no lock-in contracts—work on your own terms and choose your hours
- Full autonomy over your schedule
- Medicare rebates only, ensuring a high volume of patients without financial barriers
- Minimal post-consultation admin—our support team handles patient follow-ups and documentation
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations via phone and video for general health concerns, chronic conditions, and acute presentations
- Provide prescriptions, referrals, pathology requests, and ongoing treatment plans
- Review structured patient histories before consultations to improve clinical efficiency
- Carry out follow-ups and long-term care management, ensuring continuity of care
- Support a diverse patient base, including individuals in regional and remote areas with limited in-person access
- Set your own schedule, with a minimum commitment of 6 hours per week (up to full-time)
- Use our cloud-based practice management system with real-time support from our medical team
Your Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Medicare Provider Number eligibility to claim, refer, and request services
- Proficiency with digital patient management software; telehealth experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively
